Who we are

Step by step, stone by stone.

We did not come to electronics from the outside. Our team came up through EMS production, hardware development, test automation and the PCB supply chain, and then spent years building software that this industry uses every day.

Today we are a young, interdisciplinary team of electronics engineers, software developers and people who have sat on both sides of a quote. Distrify grew out of hundreds of conversations with distributors, manufacturers and buyers.

    Coming up through EMS

    Hardware development, test automation and the PCB supply chain. We learned this industry on the shop floor.

    Founding Electronic-Fellows

    Our own company and Stackrate, a web-based DFM software used by hundreds of PCB and EMS companies.

  3. 2021

    Acquired by Luminovo

    Luminovo acquired Electronic-Fellows, and Stackrate and the team joined one of the leading software companies in the electronics supply chain.

Who you would be working with.

In Germany, on Microsoft Azure in Frankfurt. Distrify is built and run by Automates UG, a German company, under German and European law. We keep a written data security statement and send it on request, before anything is signed.

Small enough that you will speak to the people who build it, and that is the point rather than an apology. The person who takes your call can change the product, and there is no account manager standing between you and the answer.

You take it with you. Everything in the catalog exports in open formats, and your business system was the master the whole time, so nothing you depend on daily lives only with us. Ask for that clause in writing and you get it.

Yes. There is a published customer story on this site, and where it helps we arrange a call with a distributor in a comparable position. They will tell you what went well and what took longer than we said it would.
